A FORMER PAYROLL administrator at Virgin Media Television has been sent forward for trial accused of stealing more than €870,000 from the broadcaster.
Kellie Walton, 39, of Kilfenora Road, Dublin 12 had been charged in March last year with theft of €64,509 in cash, property of TV3/Virgin Media Television, on a date in 2018.
She was also accused of stealing €70,614 in 2019 from the television station at Westgate Business Park, Ballymount, Dublin 12.

A former employee of Virgin Media Television has been sent forward for trial, accused of stealing more than €870,000 from the broadcaster.
Kellie Walton of Kilfenora Road, Dublin 12 is alleged to have stolen the money over a ten-year period, beginning in 2009.
Kellie Walton used to work as a payroll administrator at Virgin Media Television, or TV3 as it was known previously.
Last March, she was charged with stealing over €64,000 in cash from her employer in 2018. She was also charged with stealing over €70,000 the following year.
Twenty additional charges were later brought against her, bringing the total she is alleged to have stolen to €870,500 on dates between 2009 and 2019.
