A family-friendly music festival is set to return to the north Hertfordshire countryside with a bang this summer.
Todd in the Hole Festival is coming back this July with more than 80 acts spread across three days.
After the success of 2019, which saw over 9,000 visitors, followed by the huge disappointment of having to cancel last year, the Todd team are working tirelessly to put on a weekend to remember from Friday, July 16 to Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Bury Wood, Todds Green.
The Fort Frances Lakers are looking for a new home.
Town Council has decided to close the Ice for Kids Arena for the season due to limited use because of the ongoing COVID-19 shutdown.
The much smaller ’52 Canadians Arena will remain open but will be shared among all user groups.
The Lakers are the first Superior International Junior Hockey League team forced to look at venue options if the league restarts.
The SIJHL is taking a wait and see approach as they have paused operations indefinitely.
Officials have indicated they won’t be ready to resume play until late February at the earliest.

The town of Fort Frances is looking to shut down one of its two ice rinks for the rest of the season.
The uncertainty of the provincial lockdown and one of the main users not expected to resume are playing into a proposal to remove the ice from the Ice for Kids Arena.
Recreation and Culture Manager Aaron Bisson admits it will mean less ice time for users.
“Based on pre-shutdown levels on one rink, we would be able to satisfy 80% of the ice time. There is a possibility that coming out of the lockdown, there will be a lesser requirement for ice time,” says Bisson.
