HOUSTON, April 28, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Wallis Bank, a full-service community bank, recently dedicated time to help fight childhood hunger throughout Houston communities. Over two days, employees of the Bank volunteered at Kids Meals, Inc., an organization committed to ending childhood hunger, to pack nearly 3,000 bags with trail mix, which were included in lunch bags for food-insecure children without access to free school-based meal programs. Recovery from Winter Storm Uri continues across Texas, with many still facing food and water insecurity as well as damages to housing and property. Since February, we have joined our neighbors and partners to provide relief.
Most recently, our employees volunteered with Kids’ Meals Inc., East Harris County Empowerment Council, and other local nonprofits, who are serving as stopgap for those struggling in the wake of the storm and the pandemic.
Employees helped to prepare 2,500 sandwiches and 2,000 snacks for families with children during their time with Kids’ Meals Inc. The effort helped to replenish lost meals and provide relief to families struggling under unexpected expenses.

In the wake of events from the recent Texas winter storm that left millions of people without power, heat, or running water, Endress+Hauser is helping Texans in need. The company’s Houston area employees worked together to select four local non-profit organizations, each of which Endress+Hauser will support with a donation of $2,500.
The Endress+Hauser team is standing with Texas and looks forward to assisting these organizations as they provide food and other essential resources for those still recovering.
