The Oldham Academy North
The Oldham Academy North and Royton and Crompton E-ACT Academy, both part of the multi-academy trust E-ACT, have launched their Kickstart Placement Scheme, designed to support young people in developing the skills and experience they need to find work after completion.
The government’s Kickstart Scheme involves partners such as E-ACT and their academies offering six-month job placements for young people aged 16-24 who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.
Placements are available in various functionalities within the academy such as Admin, IT, Site and Reception and can be tailored to suit the interests and needs of each candidate.
