SLAMABAD: Special Assistant (SA) to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill Wednesday said the present government was successfully fulfilling its promises made with the people.
Addressing a news conference along with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Sadaqat Abbasi, he said three major projects, being inaugurated by the Prime Minister Imran Khan in Peshawar this day, would serve the masses in true sense. Giving the details, Dr Gill said the ownership rights of 1,320 houses were being awarded to the low income people in Nowshera under Naya Pakistan Housing Authority, in the first phase.
Listing another project, he revealed that the prime minister was inaugurating the newly constructed OPD Block and other state-of-the-art facilities in Khyber Teaching Hospital. The capacity of the hospital had been doubled after restructuring which would facilitate providing medical treatment to the maximum patients especially during the COVID-19

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday will lay the foundation stone of the first housing project in Jalozai, Nowshera.
Then at the Governor House, he will inaugurate the Darra Adamkhel Peshawar Road Rehabilitation Project at Peshawar. After this, the foundation stone of Chitral-Bonni-Mustuj-Shandor road project (153km) will be laid. He will also inaugurate the basement OPD block in Khyber Teaching Hospital.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday visits Nowshera and Peshawar to inaugurate a housing scheme and lay foundation stones for different uplift projects in the province.
During visit to Nowshera, the prime minister inaugurates the Jalozai housing scheme for the low-income group, according to the PM Office media wing.
While in Peshawar, the prime minister would inaugurate the Peshawar-Dara Adamkhel road restoration and up-gradation project, besides laying the foundation stone of rehabilitation and expansion of the Chitral-Boni-Mastooj-Shindour road project.

PESHAWAR: The Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, has stopped attending to the people with general medical conditions to handle the growing number of coronavirus patients.
The development came after the health department formally asked the hospital, the largest government one in the provincial capital, to immediately halt elective services and refer non-Covid patients to Khyber Teaching Hospital for management.
The LRH was also told to increase the number of beds in intensive care and high dependency units and procure the medical equipment required to deal with the influx of coronavirus patients.
