With the central government putting a ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its associates or affiliates for a period of five years, a heavy police presence was witnessed outside the PFI office in the Shaheen Bagh area here on Wednesday. PFI ban LIVE updates: In a notification issued late Tuesday night, the Union Home Ministry said the central government is of the opinion that the PFI and its affiliates have been involved in subversive activities, thereby disturbing public order and undermining the constitutional setup.
