Man killed in landslide while ‘cutting hill’ in Cox’s Bazar Star Online Report Star Online Report
A man was killed in a landslide while he was allegedly cutting a hill in Sadar upazila of Cox s Bazar early today.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Rahmatullah (25), son of Mohammad Altaz of the Tetaiya village in Khurushkul union, our Cox s Bazar correspondent reports, quoting police and locals.
Rahmatullah died on the spot after a big chunk of earth from the hill fell on him while cutting the hill at Tetaiya village in the dead of night, said Jasim Uddin, chairman of Khurushkul Union Parishad.
