Khulna DC distributes food aid among 550 poor people 201 KHULNA, April 28, 2021(BSS) – Khulna deputy commissioner (DC) Md Helal Hossain today distributed foodstuffs among 550 day labourers, saloon workers, unemployed , low-income workers and poor people to minimize the present adverse impact of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the city . Khulna District Administration organised the programme at Dighalia upazila parishad premises . DC disbursed rice, pulse, chicken, oil, potato and vegetable for mitigating their financial hardship amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation by strictly maintaining health safety guidelines. Lawmaker of Khulna-4 constituency Salam Murshedi virtually attended the programme as chief guest. Besides, DC distributed same food stuff among poor people as part of Ashryan project
