Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio stressed that development and progress can only occur in a region where there is peace and security among the people. He said this while speaking as the special guest at the golden jubilee celebration of the peace and friendship treaty between four villages Chozuba, Gariphema, Rüsoma, and Kijümetouma (Chogarüki), held at Kijümetouma local ground on Saturday Rio highlighted that the present generation were more educated, economically advanced and leading a better life. He, however, emphasized that without peace and security, genuine development and progress would be hindered.
