Nearly 80 students and teachers of Xuan Phuong Elementary School in Hanoi were sent to quarantine at the cordoned campus on Sunday after a third grader tested positive for the COVID-19 pathogen on Saturday.

Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper on Sunday morning that 79 people at Xuan Phuong Elementary School in Nam Tu Liem District had been quarantined inside the school premises.

Nearly 80 students and teachers at an elementary school in Hanoi have been quarantined after a third grader was confirmed as a COVID-19 patient on Saturday.
Khong Minh Tuan, deputy director of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control told
Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper on Sunday morning that 79 people at Xuan Phuong Elementary School in Nam Tu Liem District had been quarantined inside the school premises.
They include 57 students and 22 teachers and staff members who came into close contact with L.D.N.K., student of class 3E, who was confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19 on Saturday evening.

Hanoi recorded another COVID-19 infection case in the early morning of January 30, a man from Nam Tu Liem District, who returned from Hai Duong Province.
The 41-year-old man resides in Xuan Phuong ward, Nam Tu Liem district, and works for a factory in the outskirts district of Dong Anh.
Mr. Khong Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC Hanoi) told VietNamNet that this is the 3rd Covid-19 case in the city related to the Covid-19 outbreak in Hai Duong Province.
