This was a sentiment expressed by Chief Adrian Jonker of the Cochoqua Kingdom Council at the inauguration of the !Nau, an anointing ceremony of significance to this Khoisan community, on Saturday 28 November at the Kraaltjie at Saldanha Holiday Resort.
At a !Nau ceremony leaders are authenticated and asked to commit themselves to strengthening and organising their respective constituencies.
The traditional leadership anointed at this event were from Saldanha, Vredenburg and Laingville, while other leaders had travelled from the greater West Coast district.
