The BTS is offering free rides between Wat Phra Sri Mhathat and Khu Khot stations until Jan 1. Free travel on the Gold Line between Krung Thon Buri and Khlong San stations will continue until Jan 15.

PM Prayut attends official opening of Green Line, Gold Line 16 Dec 2020 | View : 235 BANGKOK (NNT) - Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha has presided over the inauguration of the Green Line extension and the first phase of the Gold Line, operated by the Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS). The routes officially opened to the public at 1 p.m. today. Gen. Prayut attended the inauguration of the Green Line extension, which comprises seven stations connecting Mo Chit, Saphan Mai and Khu Khot. The seven stations include Phahon Yothin 59, Sai Yud, Sapahan Mai, Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital, the Royal Thai Air Force Museum, Yaek Kor Por Aor and Khu Khot. Previously, the Green Line ended at Wat Phra Sri Mahathat Station. All 59 stations of the Green Line are now open to the public.
