Various organisations have condemned and demanded justice for a 25-year-old college girl identified as Supou P, MA history final year student at Unity College, allegedly shot dead in Dimapur. Nagaland: Organisations condemn abuse of minors

Dimapur, Nov. 10 (EMN): Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum (DDCF) has strongly condemned the shocking incident where three minors including a 9-year-old girl from Mon district were reportedly abused physically and mentally by a woman named Ronika Miachieo in Burma Camp, Dimapur. “It is very disheartening to learn of such incidences where minors are abused on the pretext of giving them a better life even in today’s society,” a DDCF press release stated. The forum has also lauded the Dimapur Police for their swift action in arresting the accused in the case. It has appealed to the concerned authorities to thoroughly investigate and book the culprits and award befitting punishment as per the law. DDCF also requested the colony and village leaders to be vigilant in future to avoid occurrence of such unwanted incidents in their respective jurisdiction.
