In this connection, a case under relevant sections of law was registered and an investigation was set into motion. After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities, the girl was handed over to the legal guardians. Further investigation is in progress.
Residents of the area protested against the liquor shop near Malpha Square situated on under-construction Khetia-Pati road on the ground that Vishwa Manav Spiritual Center and several other institutions are situated in the area and the opening of the new liquor shop was not proper.
According to information, out of total 859 voters, 633 voters -g 333 men and 300 women exercised their franchise and the total voting percentage stands at around 73.69 per cent.
Their family members took them to the primary health centre in Khetia, where both have been given anti-rabies injections. On hearing this news a large number of villagers rushed to the PHC to protest.
