Article content There appears to be some misunderstandings to the involvement of the Hanna Roundhouse Society (HRS) in last year’s Sept 26, 2020 Carp Fishing Derby at the Hanna CN Reservoir. The Hanna Roundhouse Society property is adjacent to the CN Reservoir and access to the reservoir from the west cuts through the HRS property.  On occasion, the HRS maintains property extending further east along the “Dam” while maintaining HRS property.  In 2019, I was witness to a large number of dead Carp on the reservoir spillway, which I believe were there because of the volume of water in the reservoir from spring run-off.  I was curious to the number of Carp in this body of water, and wondered if native species could survive if Carp, a non-native, invasive fish were removed.
