11:16 AM MYT BANGKOK (Xinhua): Thailand s north-eastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima on Sunday (Dec 13) said it has raised alarm across the province as more than 20 cats had died from cat flu. Residents of a village in Nakhon Ratchasima s Kham Sakaesaeng district, told the media that they have discovered more than 20 cat deaths and many more sick cats. Meanwhile Nakhon Ratchasima s provincial administration had dispatched veterinarians to the village to inspect the cause of the cat deaths. Local media reported that villagers expressed concern that the felines may be infected by a deadly disease which previously almost wiped out the cat population in their community.
