Office spaces could be changing in the future A FOCUS on wellbeing and workplace satisfaction could be two changes businesses will see in the near future. Birchwood Park has conducted a study into what the future of the workplace will look like in the next five to 10 years, shaped by the coronavirus pademic. Dr Ian Pearson and workplace wellbeing expert, Khalil Rener have come up with the following predictions. Firstly, workplace satisfaction will be founded in sensory surroundings and judged on air, light and sound quality. It will be an employer’s responsibility to ensure that the office is more than adequate to meet both mental and physical needs.
