28 Jan in 15:40 Russia’s coronavirus cases grew by 19,138 in the past day to 3,793,810, the anti-coronavirus crisis center said on Thursday. The average growth rate reached 0.51%. The lowest growth rates in the past day were registered in the Tuva Republic (0.07%), the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region, the Khakassia Republic (0.2%), Moscow, the Magadan Region, the Republics of Ingushetia and Dagestan, the Pskov Region and the Kostroma Region (0.3%). Moscow confirmed 2,897 new COVID-19 cases in the past day, bringing the total case count to 922,559. The case increase rate is 0.3%, the statistics say. One day earlier, 1,837 new cases were registered. In the past 24 hours, 62 people died in the capital, bringing the total death toll in the city to 13,237. Meanwhile, 6,142 patients were released from hospitals, bringing total recover count to 797,462. Currently, 111,860 people remain in hospitals.
