Philadelphia-area families with medically complex children were caught in the middle of a critical contract negotiation between CHOP and the region's largest Medicaid plan.
CHOP is currently in negotiations with two insurance providers whose current contract is up in a matter of weeks, but families whose children are receiving life-saving care are hanging in the balance over what will happen next.
