R&B fans were all dressed up and ready for the Ashanti and Keyshia Cole Verzuz battle that was scheduled to take place on Saturday (Dec. 12) night. Rumors began to surface on social media in the afternoon that the musical showdown between the R&B divas would be canceled, and fans immediately started sharing their reactions on Twitter.
For a lot of fans, the battle was supposed to be the highlight of their weekend and soon they saw their plans come crashing down after it was confirmed that the show would be postponed after Ashanti tested positive for COVID-19 and fans weren’t pleased.
