you will be safer there. joining me now, new york cit police commissioner keyshawn sewell commissioner sewell, thank you very much for coming to th sunday show. let s talk about crime in th big apple. the latest statistics out in december has the numbers dow significantly. talk to me about that change we are in a very, first o all thank you so much fo having me jonathan we are in a very different place in new york city than we were in the last year. we for this administration cam in, we were at a 15-year hig for. shootings we had homicides, want to say homicide to, muc but they were very concerning. what we recognize is that ther was a little bit of violence happening in the city. so it put together a whole government approach to address the violence that was happenin on our streets and right now shootings ar down in homicides are down so we recognize where th problems were and we put forth a plan to address it we have some of the crime
