President over the omnibus spending bill but trump is leaving it behind. In a couple of hours he will leave washington to spend the weekend inside the safe confines of his maralargo estate. This morning he caught lawmakers off guard when he tweeted this, im considering a veto of the omnibus spending bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus Daca Recipients have been abandoned by the democrats. Not mentioned in the bill and the border wall which is d desperately needed for National Defense is not funded. And then four hours later he took the opposite approach and signed the bill. I looked very seriously at the veto. I was thinking about doing the veto. But because of the incredible gains weve been able to make for the military, that overrode any of our our thinking.
