A longtime, beloved member of the board of education in a Monmouth County borough died over the weekend of COVID-19 after being hospitalized for more than a month, according to local officials.
Ann Marie Panzarelli, 51, of Keyport, was remembered as a dedicated public servant who took on many tasks for several organizations, said Mayor Collette Kennedy.
“Mrs. Panzarelli dedicated countless hours of her time and we as a community as a whole are better because of all that she did,” Kennedy said in a statement.
