stories that is really hard to wrap your head around. a baby ever fell out of a moving vehicle and nobody noticed, or somebody intentionally left it on the side of the road. a woman claimed to be this child s mother. she realized it was her child after seeing the picture on social media. she drove down this dead-end street and noticed something in the road. it looked like it was a child seat. maybe it was just a seat in the street. he quickly discover the unthinkable. it was a child in the seat. when he got out of his car he found the baby carrier right here. next to it was a diaper bag. next to that was the baby s formula. we do not know if this child was tossed out of the vehicle. sam: it is unclear what the woman who claimed to be the a b s mother told police. was this the was the child in the custody of the mother when it was hurt. sam: the good news is that this child is in good condition. she is in custody of social services as anne arundel tries to piece

we re following a developing story in anne arundel county. police there trying to figure out who left a baby on the side of the road, this near lake waterford park in pasadena. darcy spencer is live where police got the call. reporter: good morning. yeah, just a sad and tragic story. the between newgood news, it appears that hopefully the baby will be okay. but certainly a lot of questions about how this happened and where are the parents. we are on druitt hill avenue. a very quiet street. you can see right now a police car is about halfway down the block here in the 900 block. we talked to a couple of neighbors and surprisingly they told us they didn t even know that this had happened on their street. let s go to a picture of this beautiful little baby girl. we re told she is 2 to 3 months old, she was found in a car seat carrier. if you had an infant, you know what knows are. you put them in the carrier in the back seat of your car. again found on the side of the road. th
her car seat in pasadena, maryland. he tells news4 s darcy spencer, he couldn t believe what he saw. in the back of my mind, we said, wow, what is the world coming to? reporter: bishop raymond shillwell found a baby girl in a car seat in the middle of the street as he returned from church on the fourth of july just before midnight. when we went out and checked it out and then we said, oh, wow, somebody s actually left a baby here. reporter: the baby believed to be two or three months old did not appear to be hurt. she was just sitting there quietly at first but then when she saw other people around, then she just started crying and we said, well, wow, i don t know who would have done something like that. reporter: there is no sign of what happened on this quiet street last night, except for this some formula that spilled out from the baby s diaper bag. by late morning the baby s mom came forward and was being questioned by police. we don t know right now if foul
