Reporter the campus is still closed. You can see behind me Campus Police are t parked right in between the campus plaza to keep people from coming on campus and using loud speakers to tell people to turn around. And the area is dark. This all started with a power outage around 4 30 this afternoon. About two hours later a tremendous explosion. Reporter heavy smoke and some flames sparked from an underground vent. One man said he was walking by when he heard a tremendous explosion. I turned around and i saw this unbelievable fire ball. It was huge. Reporter the blast caused several injuries and at least one person was taken to the hospital. And uc Officials Say all of the injuries are minor.
