The Queensland Garden Expo has been announced for its return to the Nambour Showgrounds in July.
It will mark the 36th time the event has been held on the Sunshine Coast and this year was shaping up bigger and better.
The three day event will include over 120 free lectures and demonstrations, 55 nurseries, more than 350 exhibitors and displays, 60,000 plants on sale each day and will all be set across more than 7ha of space.
The event will also welcome back crowd favourites such as ABC’s Gardening Australia gurus Sophie Thomson, Costa Georgiadis and Jerry Coleby-Williams as well as event favourites Adam Woodhams, Dr Kevin Redd and Phil Dudman.
Additionally, deputies reportedly found several narcotics inside the vehicle during their search.
Deputies proceeded to arrest the pair on multiple charges, including possession of a loaded and unregistered handgun, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm, and forgery of a California seal.
Both were taken to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail for booking. The man, 27-year-old Kevin Redd, was given a bail of $50,000, while the woman, 20-year-old Selena Williams, was given a bail of $60,000, according to arrest logs.
