Heidi Johnson of Northwest Properties, which manages the mall in Sahali, confirmed that Scotiabank will take over the site. Having a bank coming to our shopping centre is a good mix with other banks in our centre, said Johnson, referring to TD and RBC. The secure tenant lends stability to a space that s been either empty or unsuccessful since November 2011 when Blockbuster closed the location along with 140 others across the country. The last tenant, a used bookstore, came and went within a matter of months.
