Caris LeVert on kidney mass: ‘This trade could’ve possibly saved me’

A physical exam conducted as part of the deal revealed LeVert, a former Michigan star, had a small mass on his left kidney.
Before that, the 26-year-old had no idea anything was wrong.
“I was feeling 100 percent healthy,” LeVert told reporters on Tuesday. “So, in a way, this trade definitely showed and revealed what was going on in my body. I’m definitely looking at it from that side and definitely humbled to know that this trade could’ve possibly saved me in the long run.”
