Belleville police have charged two men after a report of items being removed from mailboxes at an apartment complex.
The report came at 10:13 a.m. Wednesday, Sgt. Brad Lentini wrote in a news release.

A witness told police two men entered the office of a complex on Sidney Street and appeared to remove keys from the office before taking “items from selected mailboxes,” Lentini wrote.
Police charged a 34-year-old city man with mischief under $5,000 and break and enter with intent. He remained in custody and his name was not released pending a court appearance Thursday.
