Greene first criticized Pelosi for continuing to require everyone to wear masks on the House floor rules punishable by fines and for saying she didn t trust Republicans to be honest about their vaccination status.
“You know, we can look back in a time in history where people were told to wear a gold star, and they were definitely treated like second-class citizens, so much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany,” Greene said late last week on the right-wing network Real America s Voice. “And this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi is talking about.”
The campaign arm for House Democrats is seizing on the latest controversy surrounding Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), indicating the party plans on highlighting the conservative firebrand’s provocative remarks in the 2022 midterms.

Yet none of the GOP leaders responded to questions Tuesday about whether Greene should be ousted from the House Republican Conference, even after a new video surfaced showing Greene at a public meeting in 2020 saying she would not take down a statue of Adolf Hitler.
GOP lawmakers say Greene has placed McCarthy in an impossible situation. She’s become a huge distraction for Republicans and put party leaders on defense at a time they are trying to paint Democrats as weak on Israel after last week’s Middle East conflict.
At the same time, McCarthy, who has made Trump part of the GOP’s strategy to win back the House next year, is reluctant to directly take on Greene, one of Trump’s most vocal allies on Capitol Hill; Trump has previously defended and met with her at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
“The horrific spike in anti-Semitic violence and crimes in the United States and around the world serves as reminder that hateful rhetoric and lies can quickly turn into violence,” Rubio said in a statement. “We must be very clear that this ancient evil has no place in our society and ensure America’s Jewish communities are protected.”
The resolution also takes subtle aim at progressive Democratic lawmakers such as Rep. Ilhan Omar
The resolution also indirectly criticizes Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.), who tweeted, The Israeli military’s occupation continues. The blockade continues. The ethnic cleansing continues. Our government must stop funding the apartheid status quo, soon after the cease-fire between Israel and Gaza was announced.

Co-host Anthony Mason noted that Trump had reportedly called Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) a dumb son of a bitch for accepting the election results during a recent event at Mar-a-Lago and asked Boehner how he thought such rhetoric affects the GOP. Well I think rhetoric that inflames people is wrong. I don t care whether that s from the right or from the left. It just doesn t help our country in any way, shape or form, Boehner said. So Republicans need to go back to being of the principles of the Republican Party, and frankly I think the party will be much, much better off in the long run.
