In Eastwood’s 5-4 non-league win over Maumee, junior catcher Andrew Arnston belted a two-run homer to the deepest part of the Panthers’ field in the third inning. That proved to be the difference in Eastwood’s third win of the season, coming after the Eagles swept a doubleheader over Tiffin Calvert. Now the Eagles are 10-0 and Arnston is hitting .538 with three home runs, four doubles, 21 RBIs and 16 runs. In the win over future Northern Buckeye Conference foe Maumee, Arnston reached base three times, including on an infield single and an error, scoring twice.
