Before he opened a breakfast restaurant with his wife, Jenn, Mike Stone said he rarely cooked eggs.
It was 2017 and the chef worked for a country club near Lansing and Jenn worked for the state doing administrative work. The couple said they always contemplated opening their own restaurant and getting on a schedule that would benefit them and their two young children. When the country club closed, they decided to take the leap.
âI used to never cook eggs and then owning a breakfast restaurant, I make eggs all the time,â Mike laughed. âItâs just one of those things.â
