Tim Hortons drive-thru to open next week and they are giving away a year of free coffee A DRIVE-thru Tim Hortons is set to open in Motherwell next week. The fast-food and coffee chain will open its latest premises on Windmilhill Street at 7am on December 22. The first visitor will be given a prize worth £3,100 - two free medium coffees for a whole year. It will be open from 6am till 11pm seven days a week. Kevin Hydes of Tim Hortons UK said: “Christmas is coming to Motherwell a little early this year with the official opening of our fantastic new drive-thru restaurant , he added.

The original conditions attached to the previous planning permission required widening of the roadway at Knowetop Avenue to accommodate two distinct lanes on the approach to its junction with Windmillhill Street, in interest of public safety and traffic flow.
