Carver Planning Board begins its recreational marijuana retail review

Wicked Local CARVER – A former church could potentially be the location of Carver’s first recreational marijuana retailer with the Planning Board in the process of hearing a request for a special permit and site plan review from Capeway Cannabis. The Planning Board asked many questions of Capeway Cannabis during the opening of the public hearing before scheduling a site visit at 307 Tremont St. for Jan. 5 and continuing the public hearing to its next meeting Jan. 26. Capeway managing consultant and property owner Kevin Hough said the company is locally-owned and family-owned with ties to the South Coast communities as well as being one of the few minority-owned retailers owned by women.
