My heart goes out to Kevin Gallegos Lopez’ beautiful family. It was a very sad to learn about Kevin’s passing. He had worked hard studying, finished his degree at Chico State and just started a new job when his life was quickly taken. I attended an organ donor flag raising event at Valleycare in Monday in his honor. His organs will be helping many other local people. This is such a wonderful thing that he and his family have done for our community. As I spoke to Erica, Kevin’s Mom, she had been told of several local people that would benefit from his organs and she felt good knowing part of him would remain close to us all.
