Ione Drake Ione Claire Drake passed away on February 4th, 2021. There will be a service held on Tuesday, February 9th at 1pm, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. She will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Memorial cemetery. Ione Drake was born to Wilfred Doucette and Marcelle Grimes on May 2nd, 1936 in Brainerd, Minnesota. She married Shannon Lee Drake on December 21, 1956 in Brainerd, Minnesota. She loved to Participate In activities such as Fishing and Bingo. She also loved road trips. She enjoyed her job as a cashier her entire life until she retired in her later years. She is survived in death by her four children, Patrick Drake (Sandra), Kevin Drake, Tammy Hemphill (Robert) and Lori (Pat) Borders. She has nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four siblings.
