On richmond with professor Jack Trammell and his book, the Fourth Branch of government we the people, talk about the publics participation in government. The Fourth Branch of government was actually a contested term. Some people refer to it as the media but my coauthor and i would like to coopt that and reinvent the Fourth Branch to be the power of the people. We believe america has gone to the point where our democracy needs to grow some to and the Fourth Branch is the peoples branch. It is the peoples participation in our government and democracy. I think the premise for what he wanted to put came from his experience as an ordinary citizen and our democracy experiencing some of the frustrations with partisanship and the failure of the twoparty system and gridlock in government and so on. For me, my perspective changed after retro congress in 2014. It opened my eyes to this functionality many things. Next comes from the fact that we are in uncharted territory. Weve never been a nation

As the white guys that passed the asian litmus test. The next time i think i ran into him i was working with wayne at monaco and john was there and wayne congratulated him and winning the macarthur fellowship. And then i was actually i started working on the film. Because what we did was we gave donna camera to just film has everyday life for a whole year the style was making the producers quite nervous. I liked the final cut but people werent sure how it was going to fly and i cant remember who it was but johns name came up as something to look at the film and give his feedback or stamp of approval so we sent it to john i think i got a call from you.
