UHP: Sunday protest numbers are hard to predict, expects around 100 people
Utah law enforcement is preparing for planned protests at Utah s state capitol on Sunday.
Utah Highway Patrol said their crowd estimates for the protest have varied. They initially were expecting over a thousand people, then estimates were 300 to 400 people. Saturday night they said they expect around 100 people at the protest.
Nick Street with UHP said it s hard to track because some fringe groups have told their members no to go to the capital, while other groups have moved to different social media and messaging platforms which can make it harder to track their plans.
