An Indiana County man has announced he will seek the Democratic party’s nomination for the race for U.S. Senate.
Alan Shank of Homer City has announced his candidacy for the senate seat that will be vacated after Senator Pat Toomey steps down at the end of his term. Shank is a lifelong Pennsylvania resident, graduating from Marion Center School District in 1999. He graduated from Shippensburg University in 2004 and after earning his masters of criminal justice from the University of Phoenix in 2015, Shank worked in the mental health and retail fields.
