This afternoon hazmat crews in urbandale. But it turned out to be a false alarm. An employee at Worldwide Logisitics reported finding a suspicious substance on a package shortly after noon. The building was evacuated and haz mat crews called in when the employee said the substance made their hands tingle. After investigating officials determined the substance was clearasil. An exfoliating face wash. Earlier in the day there was an actual emergency nearby. Authorities believe a construction crew digging near 100th and douglas struck an underground gas line.
