Some relief at last for market vendors.Local Government Minister Premila Kumar says vendors who are unable to sell their produce due to the COVID-19 lockdown or for safety reasons decide to close their stalls, will not be charged for the days they are not at the market.

Fiji National University (FNU) alumni members can now obtain a special discount from HealthPlus Diagnostic Centre after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the FNU Alumni Office and HealthPlus Diagnostic Centre.
In a statement today, FNU’s Acting Alumni Relations Manager Sharon Chand said such collaboration expands FNU’s existing corporate partnerships as well as establishes new corporate relationships.
“This partnership provides a 10 per cent discount offered by the HealthPlus Diagnostic Centre. The discount is not only limited to the FNU alumni but this also extends to their immediate family members,” Ms Chand said.
