KINGSTON – Where there’s a will there’s a way, and young Ariel and the Silver Lake actors who will tell her story, know that very well.
In a unique year, Silver Lake Regional High School s presentation of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” will be streamed to viewers looking to be entertained.
In the musical adaptation of Disney’s 1989 film, Ariel the curious young mermaid falls for a handsome human prince and agrees to a dangerous bargain with a powerful sea witch, leading to a showdown between good and evil forces which only love can remedy.
Maggie Kunselman, who plays Scuttle, an eccentric seagull and expert on humans, said it has been such a difficult time for everyone, so she’s happy they have been able to overcome the challenges they have faced to present the musical to a live audience, even if the audience is watching from home.
