The Arts Office at Kerry County Council has extended the open call deadline for Culture Night Kerry. On September 23rd, events will take place all over Ireland.

Lisa Fingleton has been appointed as Kerry County Council s first Visual Artist in Residence, a role funded by Creative Ireland with support from Kerry s Arts Office.
Lisa is no stranger to working with the arts office, having been Filmmaker in Residence from 2006 to 2008. She also worked with the art offices on the film The Swimming Flagstone in Lixnaw in 2019 - a project to engage the people of Lixnaw in discussions about food, biodiversity and climate change, drawing on the historical legacy of the past. She has also showcased her work at the Kerry Visual Artists Showcase, facilitating drawing workshops at festivals and being awarded various arts bursaries over the years.
