The identity of an infant that died after being struck by a vehicle in Southwest Bakersfield was released by the Kern County Cororner's Office on Mon, May 1.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies were notified of vandalism occurring in Oildale near the 2100 block of Barnett Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who had been shot.
The names of the two victims in a double homicide in South Bakersfield have been released. The men were Saul Ramirez Jr., 28, of Bakersfield and Deszesk Lavon Halliman Jr., 22, of Sacramento.
The Bakersfield Police Department (BPD) is asking for help from the community in locating a person of interest relating to a double homicide that took place in South Bakersfield.
