"In an original petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner cannot challenge an order passed by the court below, without producing an authenticated copy of the same," the Court said.
The Court expressed its doubts as to the veracity of the allegations against the man detained under the KAAPA and summoned the man and his parents to the Court before arriving at its decision.
Justice K Babu expressed doubts over whether the accused headmistress had the intent to commit an offence under the SC/ST Act. At the most, the teacher exceeded in disciplining the student, the Court added.
