The death count from the blasts that rocked a Christian religious gathering near here two weeks ago has risen to five, the Kerala government said on Sunday.
A 62-year-old woman has died from burn injuries sustained in the bomb blasts in Kalamassery, Kochi, bringing the death toll to four. The police have been granted a 10-day custody of the sole accused, Dominic Martin, who surrendered to the police and claimed responsibility for the blasts.
