Apr 17, 2021 James “Jim” Arnold Parsons, Sr., 68, of Triadelphia, WV, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 15, 2021. He was born on August 22, 1952, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Dale A. and Mary L. Dobrzynski Parsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Parsons; an infant brother; and father-in- law, George N. Junkins. Jim was a skilled masonry contractor. He also worked as a coal miner for Valley Camp and at the B & O Railroad. He coached baseball, softball and flag football where he made an impact on many of the youth in the valley.

Jan 13, 2021 Eileen Ruth Schank, 93, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Wheeling Hospital Continuous Care Center. She was born August 11, 1927, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Carl and Lula Blanche Conaway Schank. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Reece & Edward Schank; three sisters, Adeline Virginia Schank Clark, Sarah Witt Ray & Dorothy Martin; and five nephews. Eileen graduated from Triadelphia High School and retired as a secretary/receptionist from Kepner Funeral Homes after 31 years. She was always there for everyone and was more like a mother and grandmother. Eileen was the guiding light of the family.

Charon is survived by son, Shawn Murray of Brooklyn, NY.
