The City of Keota and some of its entities were recently awarded monies to help with future projects by the Keokuk County Community Endowment Foundation (KCCEF). At a ceremony held in late April in Delta, the Wilson Memorial Library received $5,000 to repair the library’s elevator and upgrade their exterior lighting to LED. The Keota Historical Museum received $5,000 for the stained glass window in the museum. The KCCEF was formed in 2005 as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines and awards more than $90,000 in grants annually to Keokuk County projects.  Previous Story
