In a recent home meet at Keokuk County Bowl, the Sigourney bowling team fell to Pella Christian in a heads up dual.
The Eagles’ final tally of 1916 pins edged the Savages’ 1868 in the two-game series. Sigourney freshman Brock Alderson was the top bowler with a 341 series including a 183 high-game. He beat out the second place finisher by 52 pins in the series. Other finishes included Gable Goff third with a 273 two-game score, Corren Freel sixth with 235, Jordan Shadley eighth with 217, and Ty Krueger 10th with 209. Sigourney had a baker game total of 593 compared to Pella Christian’s 684.
The Savages are now 5-5 overall and will next hit the lanes Saturday against Pella at home.
