Our cool weekend continues with a Frost Advisory tonight lasting until 9 am Sunday. Be sure to protect any plants tonight and for the next couple as near freezing temperatures are expected.
Record highs take a backseat to active and much cooler weather as we head into the weekend. We're in for a mostly cloudy and windy Friday with highs still well above normal
Isolated showers/storms have already been firing up across our viewing area and will spread out and become more soaking and numerous through the late evening into the night.
A red flag warning is in effect Thursday. The combination of a strong (25 to 30 mph gusts) southwest wind, low humidity and near record highs in the low to mid 80s will lead to increased fire danger.
We're in for a wild spring ride through the end of the week. A strong south/southwest flow sets up midweek with a warm front lifting into the Great Lakes and a big ridge of high pressure east.
